A failed romance in the past between her mother and his father threatened the budding relationship between Sharon and Gabby, in this film, which was the very first movie produced by Viva Films and which set the sleek, glossy and wholesome standards which later became its trademark. It is also one of the classic team-ups of Sharon and Gabby, which later grew into one of the most popular loveteams in Philippine movie history.
